**AllSurplus** ([allsurplus.com](https://www.allsurplus.com)) is the business surplus marketplace of Liquidity Services, which also runs GovDeals for government surplus. More than 15,000 sellers list there: heavy equipment, industrial machinery, lab and biopharma equipment, energy assets, electronics and more. Liquidity Services reported about 6 million registered buyers across its marketplaces at the end of its 2025 fiscal year.

## How AllSurplus auctions work

- **Auto-extension.** Liquidity Services lists automatic auction extension among its buyer tools: a listing marked for it extends when a late bid arrives ([soft close](https://ghostnode.co/glossary/soft-close)). Check the listing for its rule.
- **Automatic bidding.** You can set a maximum and let the marketplace raise your bid in steps; **Rapid Bid** lets you place and adjust bids from your account page.
- **Reserves.** A lot may have a reserve, and the listing shows whether it has been met ([reserve price](https://ghostnode.co/glossary/reserve-price)).
- **Increments** are shown on each listing.
