AllSurplus Auctions: Business Surplus, Auto-Extension and Removal
AllSurplus is Liquidity Services' marketplace for business surplus: heavy equipment, industrial and lab equipment, electronics, energy and biopharma assets from more than 15,000 sellers. Its listings can extend automatically on late bids, you can bid with an automatic maximum, and the buyer's premium is set per listing. AllSurplus (allsurplus.com) is the business surplus marketplace of Liquidity Services, which also runs GovDeals for government surplus. More than 15,000 sellers list there: heavy equipment, industrial machinery, lab and biopharma equipment, energy assets, electronics and more. Liquidity Services reported about 6 million registered buyers across its marketplaces at the end of its 2025 fiscal year.
How AllSurplus auctions work
- Auto-extension. Liquidity Services lists automatic auction extension among its buyer tools: a listing marked for it extends when a late bid arrives (soft close). Check the listing for its rule.
- Automatic bidding. You can set a maximum and let the marketplace raise your bid in steps; Rapid Bid lets you place and adjust bids from your account page.
- Reserves. A lot may have a reserve, and the listing shows whether it has been met (reserve price).
- Increments are shown on each listing.

Much surplus is heavy and pickup-only: in GhostNode's data 59.0% of AllSurplus lots were pickup-only. Removal deadlines are strict; plan transport before you bid. Most surplus is also sold as is.
When AllSurplus lots end
GhostNode's AllSurplus sample is small (1,600 lots between September 13, 2026 and October 10, 2026). Unlike the consumer marketplaces, its lots closed through the working day, with the busiest hour at 2–3 pm Eastern and only 8.4% on weekends.
