Live Search: One Search Across Six Auction Marketplaces
Live search is a search box in GhostNode's console that queries eBay, ShopGoodwill, HiBid, AllSurplus, K-BID and BestBid at the same moment and streams every result into one list as each marketplace answers. You can filter by price, closing time and bids, and star any lot to follow it in the Watch list.
Checking six auction sites for the same thing means six tabs, six search boxes and six sets of filters. Live search in GhostNode's console does it once: you type a query, and eBay, ShopGoodwill, HiBid, AllSurplus, K-BID and BestBid are searched at the same time, with results appearing as each marketplace answers.
What you get
- One list, six marketplaces. Each result shows its marketplace, price, bids and time left. Each marketplace reports its own state: finished, more results available, blocked or switched off.
- Filters above the results, shown as removable chips: price range, ending time, bids, words in the title, auctions only, and which marketplaces to include.
- No jumping while you read. New results collect behind an "↑ N new lots" button instead of pushing the list down.
- Quick view of any lot without leaving the list, with a link to open it on the marketplace.
- A star on every lot, which adds it to your Watch list and keeps its price and time up to date (see the Watch list update).

Open Listings in the console and start a Live search from there. Your recent searches are saved per account.

How is Live search different from GhostNode's keywords?
Keywords run all the time in the background and collect matching lots into Listings. Live search is for right now: type anything, see what is on six marketplaces this minute, without saving a keyword.
Can Live search look inside ShopGoodwill descriptions?
Yes, as an Advanced option: ShopGoodwill can search item descriptions as well as titles, which finds lots whose titles are vague.
